ZULUECHO STUDIO is an architectural photography and video production studio based in New York City, founded by Zain Elwakil. The studio’s driving inspiration is that buildings and the teams behind their design share an intimate relationship throughout the design process - the camera becomes an extension of that process, documenting the stories and subtle nuances that culminate in the exquisite projects our clients bring to life.

ZULUECHO STUDIO works in collaboration with Architects, Designers, Developers, Real Estate Professionals, and Builders to produce and curate powerful visual media that highlights the value of quality design. Through a unique blend of artistic and compositional expertise, and a cross disciplinary approach, ZULUECHO STUDIO produces and provides you with the assets that celebrate the success of each project allowing you to reach broader audiences on a variety of digital and printed platforms.

The Founder, Zain Elwakil, earned his Bachelor’s of Architecture Degree (B.Arch) from Syracuse University’s School of Architecture. He worked as a designer at a variety of established and world renowned architecture and design firms before shifting his focus to a passion of his - documenting and experiencing the built environment through the lens of his camera. As Filmmaker, Photographer, and Designer, his creative intuition and trained architectural eye allow his work to take on a unique perspective.
